I’m lucky to have a pair of dogs at home that are my, sometimes reluctant, models for new locations. They do love water though and any chance of exploring a new forest walk is going to be taken up with happy giggles from them both.
My older WCS, Skye, has had a lot of time invested in her training but sometimes the location proves a little too exciting and her stay isn’t quite what I would like the first time around. But like everything in life, a little patience and persistence mean you get there in the end.
